Capture hints: I used global capture to install the IDE, the update and manually copied and installed all the 3rd party components

Suggested/Optional package edits: none

Things to watch for: for whatever reason, Delphi while the svs is in update mode would work perfectly. When launched in normal mode (after activating the layer), it would give me all kinds of error messages saying the component's packages could not be found.. sure enough, the packages (*.bpl) where in the proper path, but the Delphi compile process didn't copy the same packages to the Windows\System32 directory.. once i found that, I set the layer to update mode, manually copied all the *.bpl files from the C:\Program Files\Borland\Delphi7\Projects\Bpl to Windows\system32 and.. presto, everything works like a charm now...
